ELISABETH VOLKMANN was born on March 16, 1942 in Essen. She attended the Folkwang School in Essen and after graduating she was hired for the 'Hollaender Revues' in Munich. Further engagements in Berlin, Zurich and Hamburg followed. She made her film debut with a role in the film 'Immer wenn es Nacht wird' (1961). Elisabeth Volkmann took singing lessons and also performed as a singer. She achieved her greatest popularity with the TV series 'Klimbim' (1973-78). Photo: 1975
