Nardiello, boxing commission physician, examines the eyes of Tami Mauriello of the Bronx, N.Y. who suffered a technical kayo from Johnny Shkor of Brighton, Mass., in the eight round of a scheduled 10-round bout at the Boston arena, friday night. The fight was stopped after the bell sounding the end of the seventh round when Dr Isaac Klein decided that Mauriellos eye was to badley cut for him to continue. Tami also had a cut on top of the head. To many it appeared that Shkor was doing considerable butting, using his head from the vantage point of greater height. Mauriellos manager claims he won six of the seven rounds before the fight was stopped. He's the leading heavyweight challenger. Anm.
