Strip of bobbin lace with stylized round flower between two thick c-volutes, Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Beverse lace. The strip is finished on one long and two short sides with a narrower strip of the Lille side. The repeating and symmetrical pattern of the broad strip consists of a stylized round flower between two thick c-volutes, like a candelabrum with three arms. The repetitive pattern of the narrow strip consists of a one-sided bent stem with a fan-shaped flower. The motifs are connected to each other by a fine lattice soil, a tulip soil that is covered with square pulpes. The motifs are made in linen with mostly large cut-outs and thicker and shiny contour threads. Various decorative soils have been applied, including so-called leather or 'ladders' made in form, in the round flower and in the volutes. The pouches are also made in shape. The tops of both strips are finished straight. The scallops along the underside of the narrow strip are finished with picots., anonymous, Beveren (possibly), c. 1850 - c. 1899, linen (material), bobbin lace, l 110 cm × w 19 cm ×, 21 cm.
