Yesterday in a New York Federal court, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, husband and wife, found guilty of passing wartime atom bomb secrets to Russia, were sentenced to die in the electric chair. The couple were part of the spy ring, run by Dr. Klaus Fuchs, sentenced to 14 years, last year, and are the first to receive the death sentence for atom spying.
