Funerary Architecture / History of France. View of the Rotonde des Valois as it should have been if this monument had been completed. (The Rotunda of the Valois, commonly known as Notre-Dame-de-la-Rotonde, a building which adjoined the basilica of Saint-Denis from the end of the 16th century to the beginning of the 18th century and which housed the tomb of Henri II and his wife Catherine de Medici.
