Eduard Suess, August 20, 1831 - April 26, 1914, was an Austrian geologist and politician of the 19th century and became known as an expert on the tectonic structure of the Alps. Two essential palao-geographical discoveries can be traced back to him: the former supercontinent Gondwana and the Tethys, historical, historisch, digital improved reproduction of an original from the 19th century.
