Spectral tarsier in a tree. Spectral tarsiers (Tarsius tarsier) are found only in Indonesia. They are crepuscular (active at twilight) and nocturnal and are considered to be the most primitive of the modern tarsiers, lacking the adhesive toes common to other species.
