Duke wins in Germany - In the 350 cc event Geoffrey Duke (60) leads Johnny Lockett (65), of Britain who was second, and Ken Kavanagh of Australia (70) who was third. All are driving British Norton machines.British Geoffrey Duke set two new track records at the ***** race course near Stuttgart, August 26, when he won both the major events of the German motor-cycle Grand Prix. He won the 500 cc event at an average of 136 kmph (about 84.5 mph) and the 350 cc event at 130.6 kmph (about 81 mph). September 8, 1951.
