Treasure find from Palaiokastron - appliqué in the form of an Eros with tänie (? ), gold, chased, gold, Total: Height: 2.15 cm; Width: 1.45 cm; Weight: 0.75 g, garment decoration, body decoration, history of Cupid, Amor (Eros), Early Hellenistic, High Hellenistic, Greek antiquity, The Eros striding to the left in side view and wings protruding to the back holds a tänie (?) immediately in front of the body. It probably formed a unit together with the Erotic Inv. 1917.202, 1917.203 and 1925.178. The eyelets served to attach it to a robe or diadem. Together with similar garment appliqués, this piece comes from the find of Palaiokastron in Thessaly, discovered and excavated in 1909.
