The meeting between Psamtik III and Cambyses. Psamtik III aka Psammetichus, last Pharaoh of the Twenty-sixth Dynasty of Egypt. King Cambyses II of Persia. Psamtik had ruled Egypt for only six months before Cambyses II and his army invaded Egypt. He was subsequently defeated at the Battle of Pelusium in 525 BC, and fled to Memphis where he was captured.
