Wooden doll with glass eyes and human hair, dressed in a demi-parure of floral sits, consisting of an overcoat and a tablier, The doll has an oval face with pointed nose, small chin, almond-shaped eyes with black glass pupils (white from glass or porcelain?) and a narrow, horizontal elevation for the mouth. The wooden face is covered with plaster over which a primer with chalk glue and then a light yellow oil paint with varnish and pink blushes on the cheeks. The forearms and hands are made of wood, but the upper arms are made of padded linen. Model clothes: the robe a la francaise has a manteau (open overcoat) with half long sleeves with cuffs and eventail (short at the front and long at the back) and an open skirt, including a tablier (apron). A loose-fitting Watteau pleat from the neck that is not fastened at the waist. The skirt consists of three tracks. The tapered panel on the front panels is folded and secured in the fold with large basting stitches. Flat hem with rough stitches. Two falbalas on the tablier. The slits (including for the bags) are sewn shut. Devant-de-gorge or piece d'estomac (triangular bust) of brown linen, decorated with pink silk ribbon that has largely decayed. A tulle strip in the neckline. Around the neck a collerette (collar) of pink silk ribbon, center front. White goat leather mitaines, with sewn-on thumb. Underwear: underskirt of white linen with pattern of stacked windows in vertical lines. The skirt consists of three strips with flat side pieces to which the skirt is wrinkled. Middle back seam. Split on both sides with ribbons for attachment. Corset of blue linen, quilted and fitted with ribs, trimmed with light blue ribbon. Panier (a coudes) of checkered cover (beige, pink, brown and green). Open, semi-circular (semi-oval) hoop on short skirt. White linen underskirt with the same pattern as the upper unders.
