Wheel Chair Wedding. - - - - Wheel chairs were used by the guard of honour of fellow-patient when ex Coldstream Guardsmen, Sgt, George Swindlehurst, who was wounded in Germany, married Nurse Winifred Doyle at St Edwards' Roman Catholic Church, Macclesfield, Cheshire. The bride attended Sgt Swindlehurst when he was a patient at Warrington Military Hospital. - - Picture Shows: Father Coyne, conducts the ceremony uniting Sgt Swindlehurst and Miss Doyle at St Edwards.
