Low magnification photomicrograph of blood cells in a smear. The majority of the cells are red blood cells. The donut shape of many of the cells is a reflection of their bi-concave shape. Three white cells are seen in this portion of the smear. Each of these cells is a granulocyte, namely two neutrophils and one eosinophil. Wrights stain. x700.
