Poster advertising, Vov, an egg liqueur. The story goes that in 1840 a sweets-maker in Padova, Mr. Pezziol, developed a drinkable Zabaione he could sell customers because he wanted to use up the egg yolks that remained after making all the Torrone (egg white and sugar nougat), which was his big seller. So Vov was born and has been a constant success in Italy ever since. Leonetto Cappiello (9. April 1875 in Livorno, Italy – 2. February 1942 in Cannes, France) was an Italian poster art designer who lived in Paris. He is now often called 'the father of modern advertising' because of his innovation in poster design.
