D617(RS): Calvin Parker and Charles Hickson were fishing in the Pascagoula River, Mississippi, about 9 p.m. on the night of 11 October 1973. They saw a glowing egg-shaped UFO hovering above the ground from which three beings floated towards them across the water. Both men were grabbed and taken into the craft, where they were examined before being floated out again. The aliens had grey wrinkled skin, claw-like hands, no eyes, slits for mouths, and conical objects in place of their noses and ears. Credit: Richard Svensson/Fortean Picture Library.
