Lucy Gwynne Branham (April 29, 1892 - July 18, 1966) was an American suffragette. In 1917, she was arrested for picketing the White House as part of the Silent Sentinels, for which she served two months in the Occoquan Workhouse. In 1919, she toured America speaking of her experiences as part of the "Prison Special" tour and burned a letter from President Wilson to protest for women's suffrage. After woman's suffrage was obtained she served on the Congressional Committee to lobby for the Equal Rights Amendment. Harris & Ewing, 1917 (cropped and cleaned).
