Strip of bobbin lace with one-sided sprigs with stiff straight leaves, Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Lille lace. Beneath a broad scattering of square puffs, the repeating pattern consists of a crooked twig with stiff straight leaves. The twig springs from a row of concatenated ovals along the bottom of the strip. The motifs are connected by a fine lattice ground, a tulle ground. The sparse fullwork is made in linen stitch, with thicker and shiny contour threads. The muslins are made in molding stroke. The top and bottom of the strip are finished straight, with picots on the bottom., anonymous, Lille, c. 1805 - c. 1815, linen (material), bobbin lace, Lille lace, length 124 cm × width 7 cm × 2.7 cm.
