JOLIOT-CURIE, FREDERIC

Orig.bildtext... JOLIOT-CURIE DENIES COMMUNISTS REPRIMAND. Dr. Frederic Joliot-Curie, father of Zoe,the french atomic pile, today denied in an exclusive interview with INS correspondents the story published by a french evening newspaper saying that he had been reprimanded for titism, or Nationalist deviation from the Communist party line, on account of statements made at an anglo-american press association meeting that a french communist, like any other, could not be expected to turn over secrets entrusted with him to any other nation. Photo shows Mr. Joliot-Curie interviewed by INS correspondents just as he returned from a fishing trip and read the story of his reprimand. He insisted the story of a reprimand was baseless, and reiterated his statments followed the communist line. Anm. Nobelpris i kemi 1935 tillsammans med Irène Joliot-Curie. persons: Frédéric Joliot-Curie sites: FRANKRIKE*.
