Square model with rounded corners. The embroidery is along the edges and consists of bouquets with ivy leaves and forget-me-nots. The twelve bouquets are placed at equal distances from each other and connected by a decorative band of rosette flowers and dots between two dotted lines. The edge of the batist is finished with small regular scallops, with a rosette flower in each scallop. The strip side is wrinkled on the batiste. It has a shell edge with contiguous, curved bows. Each scallop has the same, slightly slanting leaf. The motifs are made in linen with openwork edges and cut-outs. They are connected by a square Valenciennes ground. The scallop edge is finished with picots., anonymous, Europe, c. 1850 - c. 1860, cotton (textile), Valenciennes lace, l 39.5 cm × w 37.7 cm w 3.5 cm ×, 2.8 cm.
