The Berlin Zoo today witnessed the strangest ceremonies it has ever seen when two members of the Somali group now living at the Zoo, Ali Hersi, the Chief of the group, and Amina Hassan, the prettiest chocolate colored maiden of the tribe, became Somali man and wife after going through the whole picturesque native ritual, dances, songs and a feast of goat roasted over an open fire.
