chest, Anonymous, 17th century, wood, iron, General: 60 x 149 x 58cm 600 x 1490 x 580mm, Wooden box with iron fittings. Two square lock plates on the front with four nails each on the corners. In the center of the lid an iron clasp with hinge, which falls over one eye on the front of the box. The lid contains six square flat nails. Rectangular curved handles on the sides. Above the handle on the left is a plate with an eye, from which hangs an iron lock in the shape of a heart. The key is missing. The back of the box is curved, which gives off the iron fittings. The inside of the box is divided in two by a partition. The chest stands on two wooden feet that run from front to back, 1939.
