Dance Mask circa 1850-1900. This mask would have worn by an actor playing the part of Thotsakan, the demon king of Sri Lanka. Originally based on Indian temple dances, these masked dances become a popular entertainment at the royal court during the Ayutthaya period (1350-1767) .
