Model of a Chain Stopper, Model of a chain stopper between two decks. Consisting of a slide for the chain on a bobbin and continuing through the port vault hole, and a heavy devil's claw hanging on a bobbin on the ship's wall. A clasp over the chain secures the claw, the bracket is secured with a fork, which is lashed to the deck beam by a hoist.
