Judy Martin (above), Creative Crafts Director for Illinois Bronze Powder & Paint Co., shows how artist Bob Lee transformed a typewriter from dull to dramitic with swishes and swirls of exuberant color using new quick-drying, accent brush on acrylic paints. How to transform attic stowaway's, thrift shop castoffs or plain-jane possessions in the same way, is shown in the new 52-page booklet, "Accent on Crafts," just published by Illinois Bronze Powder & Paint Co, and compiled with the aid of an Artists Advisory Panel under Miss Martin's direction. The booklet, which features over 150 color photographs, also covers a multitude of crafts including decoupage, papier mache, pop art ceramics, Victorian tinselcraft, decorative folk art painting, stenciling, creation of doll house furnitur, metal flowers and baker's clay.
