New York City.- Conrad Veidt, famous as Shakespearan actor in Europe and later associated with Ernest Lubistch, Max Reinhardt and Emil Jannings on the stage and screen, recently signed a long term contract with Universal Films to appear in American productions. He has brought his wife and child to America, preparatory to making Hollywood his permanent residence.
