Laser danger warning sign. Exposure to laser radiation can be a health hazard. Very high power lasers may cause skin burns. Even at moderate powers laser radiation can be hazardous, in particular to eyesight. Because of high coherence, low beam divergence and high brightness laser beam entering the eye can be focused to a very tight spot on the retina and cause damage via thermal effects.
