Illumination titled 'Château de Saumur' from the Très Riches Heures du Duc de Berry depicting the harvest. Five characters pick grapes while a man and a woman, apparently pregnant, rest. Clusters are deposited in baskets which are then emptied into baskets attached to mules. These hoods are themselves dumped in tanks loaded on carts pulled by oxen.
