His bride was Miss Edith Finch, a 52-year-old American authoress. The wedding was not expected to take place until January. Today's ceremony was kept secret until Earl Russell informed the Chelsea Registrar this morning of the exact time of the ceremony. The bride took an M.A. at Oxford and met Lord Russell ten years ago when she was teaching at Bryn Mawr College Pennsylvania. For three years she has been living at Paradise-walk, Chelsea. The bridegroom lives at Richmond, Surrey. His three former marriages each ended in divorce.
