The flat border is decorated with flowers and leaf vines in gold lacquer. In the middle the Huydecoper weapon with helmet and archer as helmet sign. The figure, turned to the right, is pink, bow and arrow show remnants of red. Around the shield and helmet arcanthus leaves in gold, dark gray and dirty white. The reverse side of the plate is orange, Joan Huydecoper van Maarseveen (I), anonymous, Japan, c. 1650 - c. 1660, wood (plant material), lacquer (coating), gilding (material), gilding, h 3.0 cm d 34.4 cm d 20.2 cm.
