Statuette of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia Statue of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, The king (1712-1786) sits on a step-by-step horse that has lifted the right foreleg and the left hind leg for a moment ground light, the head is turned slightly to the right. He holds the rein with one hand, while the other rests in the side. He wears a uniform consisting of a jacket with a jabot, gloves and boots, on the head a wig and, on the jacket, place the Order of the Black Eagle, a sash around the waist, a sword and a sword on the left. The saddle, with rider pistols on both sides in holsters under a flap, is placed on a schabrak, which, like the holster flap, is decorated with Louis XV-style C-volutes and with frills. The horse, wearing a head harness, is connected to the ground, an oval plate, sunk into a profiled marble pedestal. This shows bronze decorations on four sides: on the front a cartouche with the monogram F [redericus] R [ex] surrounded by two palm leaves, above which the royal crown, on one side a winch over a music book and a flute with a laurel wreath across it, on the other side a shield with Medusa head, including a helmet and sword, the grip of which has an eagle's head, a laurel wreath overall, on the back a horn of abundance with ears of corn by a band connected to a raised leafy branch, historical persons, Frederick II (King of Prussia), Emanuel Bardou, Berlin, 1778 - 1779, bronze (metal), marble (rock), h 51 cm × w 30.5 cm × d 21.5 cm w 28 cm × d 21.5 cm.
