Dutch Foreign Minister Appointed O.E.E.C. Chairman: Dr. D. U. Stikker The Foreign Minister of the Netherlands who already holds the position of 'Political Conciliator' in the Organisation for European Economic Cooperation (O.E.E.C.) has now been elected its Chairman with effect from the 16th April. Provision has been made in his own country to allow Dr. Stikker to devote most of time to the O.E.E.C., and it is generally expected that he will effect improvements in the coordination of the organisation's work.
