The present hotel, at 301 Park Avenue, New York, is a 47-story 190.5 m (625 ft) Art Deco structure designed by architects Schultze and Weaver and dates from 1931. The Sert Dining Room was thus called as it was decortated with murals by Jose Maria Sert (1874?1945). From a postcard produced by Du.Art Steel-0-Graph Corp, c1930s.
