Kumbha and Nikumbha fight with the monkey leaders. Rāma and the other leaders look on from the left. Aṅgada, whose eyelids have been cut off by Kumbha previously, is fighting with blood streaming down his face against a boar-headed demon. Kumbha's head is pierced with a dagger and Nikumbha appears to be falling with an arrow in his chest. On the right, a demon has picked up a monkey; another monkey is struggling with a demon and a third demon falls back with his head split open.
