A Gloria's Goodbye! - Screen actress of the 'silent' days Gloria Swanson, bids her her daughter Michele 'goodbye' prepares to leave Waterloo-station here on the "America" boat-train on the first stage of her journey back to the United States. Gloria, who made a brilliant 'come-back' in her film "Sunset Boulevard", now showing in this country, has been over here for the Royal Film Performance recently. She has also been making recordings of talks boosting the 1951 Festival Britain. Michele, who came over with her mother, is not returning home with her. November 13, 1950.
