Teapot of hard-fired earthenware, Staffordshire (so-called Whieldon, agate ware), Teapot of hard-fired earthenware. Both sides are shaped like a shell. The spout has the shape of an animal head. The curved lid has a lying lion as a bud and the ear has the appearance of a snake. The glaze is marbled in the colors blue, green, yellow and brown., anonymous, England, c. 1750 - c. 1760, earthenware, lead glaze, h 15.0 cm.
