The deer, which has a removable head and wears a crown, is surrounded by openwork band ornament. Similar decorations around the eight-sided pedestal, on which all kinds of insects and animals are placed on a natural base, including two hunting dogs, a horseman and a hunter. A few holes point to other lost additions. Diana looks back. She wears a bow and an arrow quiver on the back and holds in her raised left hand the end of the chain that once connected the dogs, (story of) Diana (Artemis), Diana hunting, Jacob Miller (edelsmid), Augsburg, c. 1613 - c. 1615, silver (metal), iron (metal), gilding, h 62.3 cm × w 25.0 cm × d 12.8 cm.
