France, Estaing, view of the Gothic bridge and village

The mediaeval city of Estaing is located in north Aveyron, at the mouth of the Lot River and at the foot of the Aubrac Mountains. Estaing is well known for its Gothic bridge over the Lot River. The bridge was built between 1501 and 1529 by the order of the bishop of Rodez, Francois d'Estaing.
