Wilson photographer and slide manufacturer 1823-1893.George Washington Wilson (7 February 1823 - 9 March 1893) was a pioneering Scottish photographer. The French Riviera and Monte Carlo (lecture ) . SLide 28 Municipal Casino Nice . Immortalized by innumerable postcards, the Municipal Casino of Nice was a famous entertainment complex with a circle and games rooms, ice cream parlor, restaurant, large hall and concert halls which was located in Nice , place Massena . Built between 1882 and 1884 on the Paillon , it was transformed between 1939 and 1940 and then demolished in 1979.
