The chief virtue of the pass with the inside of the foot is that the ball is kept rolling on the ground and therefore can be readily controlled by the play receiving it. The kick is the form of a push, with the 3rd placed at right angles to the line which the ball is required to me. The aim should be to make the ball roll. Only a comparatively short distance can be covered by part of this description, but it will be found that it can be extended by practice. Undated.
