El Rancho Vegas Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, 1948. Vintage linen postcard showing the hotel's swimming pool and the entrance to the Round-up Room. An inset shows the interior of a gaming room and another shows a portrait of a woman wearing a cowboy hat with her horse. El Rancho Vegas was the first hotel and casino to be built on what wouls become the Las Vegas Strip. It opened in 1941 but was destroyed by fire in 1960.
