Sword of Honor, slightly curved saber blade with back but without heel. The sword has an open hilt basket with large anchor, grip cap with inscription and knob in the shape of a lion's head. The handle is lined with shark skin and wrapped in horizontal lines with copper wire. The blade is completely without marks, Doggersbank, Willem V (Prince of Orange-Nassau), Guillaume of Harecarspel Dekker, anonymous, Netherlands, 1781 - before 30-Nov-1781, iron (metal), brass (alloy), copper (metal), wood (plant material), rope, sharkskin, engraving, whole: l 75 cm hilt: l 14.6 cm.
