Heater plate with the sacrifice of Isaac, Heater plate of cast iron, divided into two zones. In the upper zone is an image of Abraham with a raised sword, ready to kill the kneeling Isaac in the lower right corner. The sword is stopped by a putto. Above it the year 1570 with a cartouche in between with a partially illegible inscription and the numbers 22, a reference to the Bible book from which this representation is derived (Genesis 22). At the very top of the text in italics, the inscription ABRAHAM. In the lower zone a grid of horizontal lines. The whole is closed on the sides with decorated pillars, the sacrifice of Isaac (Genesis 22), anonymous, Germany, in or after 1570 - c. 1575, iron (metal), founding, h 97.0 cm × w 38.0 cm × w 41 kg.
