Spain, Catalonia, Barcelona. Hebrew inscription dating from the 14th century, located on Marlet Street in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). In the thirteenth century, there was a hospital founded by the rabbi of the community of Barcelona Samuel ha-Sardi. In commemoration of his work, a tombstone written in Hebrew was placed on the facade in 1314. The currently Hebrew inscription is a copy of the original.
