This massive Arch of Janus Quadrifrons at the Velabrum marks the northeastern border of the Forum Boarium, the cattle market of ancient Rome.

Templum Iani Quadrifronti In Foro Boario, Dieser massive Bogen des Janus Quadrifrons am Velabrum markiert die nordostliche Grenze des Forum Boarium, dem Viehmarkt des antiken Roms. Er wurde aus Ziegeln mit einer Verkleidung aus weissem Marmor errichtet. Das Bauwerk wurde wahrscheinlich von Kaiser Konstantin I. dem Grossen (306-337) errichtet und wurde auch Arcus Constantini genannt, historisches Rom, Italien, Splendore Dell' Antica Roma: The Splendors of Rome, Circa 1625 .
