NUREYEV GETS ¬£1,050 FOR 15-MINUTE TELEVISION APPEARANCE RUDOLF NUREYEV, the Russian ballet dancer who made headline news when he defected to the West whilst on tour in Paris with a Russian ballet company, will receive a fee of ¬£1,050 for a 15-minute appearance on B.B.C. television tonight (Wednesday). He will be dancing in the start of a new series MUSIC IN CAMERA and his partner will be ROSELLA HIGHTOWER. They will give the first performance in the West of new Russian choreography for the Grand Pas de Deux from the Nutcracker ballet, which was created specially for Nureyev.
