Brands Hatch motor racing circuit, West Kingsdown, Kent, 1955. Photographed five years after the introduction of the first tarmac surface. In the foreground are Druids with Paddock Hill to the right, and the newly installed Grandstand on the pit straight. This original circuit remains as the Indy circuit. The Grand Prix extension was built in 1960.
