The repeating pattern consists of a lotus flower with lush volute leaf, which originates at the top of the strip from a more or less diamond-shaped motif. The volute leaf hangs down to the bottom, while the flower turns upwards. The motifs are made in linen and mesh strokes with thicker and shiny contour threads. The motifs are connected by a lattice ground, a five-hole ground. Snowflakes are used as decorative ground. The faintly scalloped bottom comes from the pattern and is finished with picots.
