Strip of mixed lace with wavy stem and various large flowers and leaves, Strip of natural-colored mixed lace: old Milanese lace or old Flemish bobbin lace in parts, where the clotted motifs are connected by a needle-edged soil of fixed bars with picots. The repeating pattern consists of a wavy stem with one wave top and one wave valley and several large flowers and leaves on curling side branches. Between the successive wavy stems hangs an exotic flower that is surrounded by different rosette flowers. The outlines of the motifs are largely made in linen with openwork edges and large cut-outs. Within the contours of the flowers and leaves, a wide variety of ornamental grounds has been applied. The top and bottom of the strip are finished with straight straps. The upper strap is cloned with a chain of openwork ovals. The lower strap is straight and narrow and made in linen with picots., anonymous, Milaan (possibly), c. 1675 - c. 1699, linen (material), Flemish lace wit cutted threads, l 120 cm × w 8.5 cm ×, 45.5 cm.
