BELLO, Andrés (Caracas, 1781-Santiago de Chile, 1864). Escritor, poeta, periodista y humanista venezolano. Entre sus alumnos tuvo a Simón Bolívar. En 1826 publicó la revista "Biblioteca Americana" y entre 1826-1827 "El Repertorio Americano". Senador entre 1837 y 1855, y rector de la Universidad de Chile.
