Willoughby and Montgomery Ward Towers, Chicago, Illinois, USA, 1934. Postcard. Designed by Samuel N Crowen & Associates, Willoughby Tower (left) was built in 1929. The Montgomery Ward Building was built in 1899 as the headquarters of Aaron Montgomery Ward's mail order retail business. From 1899 until 1922 it was the tallest building in Chicago. Today it is known as 6 North Michigan.
